Hong Kong night
I had a chance to take some pics of sights in central Hong Kong before dinner.
Gold by Harlan Goldstein
Gold was pretty quiet for dinner, but I thought the food and drinks were nicely done. The nitrogen dessert was a bit of a let down, but the venue is still a nice place.
Cafe Deco Pizzeria
The seafood pizza and calamari appetizer hit the spot for a nice lunch. The crust is thin and crispy and the toppings are tasty.
Chia Head
The W Hotel has some off beat decorations. I thought the chia heads were quite amusing.

Night Market Elements
I had lunch at Night Market, Elements Mall. The food was pretty good and service is not bad. The dumplings and chicken were tasty.
Jade Garden
Jade Garden is a safe bet for good selection and quality. We tried some of the specials which seemed to center around winter melon.
Japanese dinner
We had a vendor meeting over dinner at a Japanese restaurant across from Ye Li Xia muslim restaurant. The food was nice and the service was great. I got an interesting bottle of wine to take home also.
Jia Jia Tang Bao

Lapis Thai
I wanted to cash in my Haagen Dazs moon cake certificate. So, I went to Thumb Plaza and got lunch at Lapis Thai. The food is a bit more expensive, but I think the quality and environment is quite good.
Pure & Whole
On the spur of the moment, we went to Pure & Whole for lunch. They modified the menu recently and the additions are pretty good.

Gardens at Vegas
The hotels change the gardens and displays on a regular basis. They are pretty interesting in a similar manner to the Christmas displays in New York.

We tried out the lunch set for restaurant week. The food was decent, but I think the setting in Grand Central is the most interesting aspect.
Bonefish Grill
We got a coupon to try out Bonefish Grill. I think the calamari and mussels were pretty decent. Service was not the best.

I met up Ted and Jay to catch up on how they are doing since our last meeting. It is good to keep in touch with college friends and see that they are doing well.
