I am posting some thoughts on various movies that I find interesting.

Big Fish

I came across this movie recently when I had an hour or so to spare.  It’s not my usual movie, but I found the movie to be entertaining.  I like the cast and the director.  For me, movies directed by Tim Burton seem to be visually interesting.

From a few perspectives, I think the themes of the movie have a positive message.  The understanding and reconciliation between father and son is main idea of this story.

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

For me, this is one of the most memorable movies of the Spaghetti Westerns.  The visuals and the gun fights are great.  The interaction between the three characters is well done and the Mexican standoff at the end of the film was brilliant. I thought it was interesting that the bad guy was originally going to be Charles Bronson, but I thought Lee Van Cleef played the part great.  This movie made me a big fan of Clint Eastwood.
