I had dinner with the family at Tim’s Kitchen. The soup was very nice.
Shanghai Tower got lost in the clouds today.
We had a very nice lunch at Paris Rouge today. The food was excellent. I thought the lamb was nice, but the dessert was the best part. The service was great also.
The management team went to Tang Palace Seafood for lunch. The lazy susan and table setting was one of the larger ones I have ever seen.
Had some shredded sesame chicken noodles for lunch
We had a quick lunch today at California Pizza. The Milan is ok, but I prefer thin Sicilian thin crust.
We strolled along the Bund and popped into the Peace Hotel. We were too stuffed from brunch to try the afternoon team. But the atmosphere seemed nice. We should try the tea in the future.

We did the Italian thing for dinner. The pizza was nice. The mushroom soup in a cup was ok. I have seen it done better in Sky 57 in Singapore.
We had a nice lunch at Pelham Grill. It is in the Waldorf Astoria across from the Long Bar. The attention to detail on the food was excellent.
I had a cancellation that freed me up for a lunch. Always glad when that happens. The Brew burgers are pretty decent, but I decided to get a curry chicken which was a nice choice.
Jean-Georges has a decent lunch set. The pork chop was nice and the dessert was excellent.

We went down to Food Fusion for a quick lunch. The beef rendang had a nice kick and the pineapple fried rice was decent.
I had dinner with my daughter at Paradise Dynasty. She loves the dumplings and vegetables. The chicken noodle soup seemed to help her feel better with her cold too.

We stopped at one of Xian’s recently restored gates. Although the visibility is not great because of the poor air quality, we managed to get some nice pics.
We had a dim sum buffet at Tian Xiang Ge, Shangri La in Xian. The dim sum was excellent and the price was good. We definitely got good value for money.
We stopped at a few places around Xian and wrapped up at the hotel for a drink before hitting the sack.
We went to Redfort Indian restaurant for dinner. I would not expect good Indian food in Xian, but Redfort was great.
We stopped off at Caprice for some appetizers before heading over to the university for recruiting.
A sign of our times, people cluster around airport charging stations like moths to a flame. I wonder how long this phenomenon will last.
We had a nice lunch at Food Fusion Kerry Parkside. Usually the place is a bit oily. But the food was pretty nicely done today.

I got back to Shanghai and shared some gifts with my daughter. She liked the chocolates with hazelnut and her Hello Kitty dressed up for the holiday.
We had a road trip to Penn State territory. The karate tournament was a well run affair. Andrew was a bit disappointed in not doing as well as he would like. I did well enough to win a grand champion. … Continue reading

We went to Due Mari in New Brunswick for lunch. The service was nice and the food was excellent. All of our seafood choices came out tasting great.
We went to one of my favorite breakfast options, Le Peep. The banana walnut pancakes and wanderer are among my favorites.
The weather was great for a trip to stroll around Princeton. The art museum was a nice experience. The outside display of the Chinese horoscope animal heads was a little bit creepy.
We went to Yankee Doodle Tap Room for lunch. We got a selection of appetizers and a chicken pesto sandwich. The mussels were quite tasty.
We went to the Cobblestone restaurant in Purchase. The food is ok. I would not recommend the French Onion soup. The cobb salad is ok and the chicken was not bad.
We had a nice lunch at Mount Fuji Steakhouse. The views from the top of the mountain are nice. The restaurant has been around since the late 1950’s and the decor doesn’t seem to have changed much. But I think … Continue reading
Breakfast at Le Peep is always a good start to the day. I decided to skip my usual and go for something new with the waffle. The brown sugar was a bit too sticky for my taste, but still nice
Lunch as Seasons 52 was nice. I had a great tuna salad. As usual, their dessert presentation is a winner.
Andrew and I went to a great football game today. The weather cleared up just before the game. The place was sold out and the noise was deafening. Glad to see my team win the game today.
I picked up some dessert at Minamoto Kitchoan, As usual, the packaging was nicely done. I wish they can wrap my Christmas gifts.
If you have a few million dollars to spare on a place to live, this place is in a great location by Central Park
I like the clock in front of Trump Tower. Hang out in front of the building and it usually doesn’t take long before you see something or someone interesting.
