Eliza got the hunger for noodles. We dropped by Haiku to fill her noodle fix.

I decided to get the vegetarian choice for today’s lunch. The dips were tasty and the burger had a nice kick.
T’ang Court was a nice spot to enjoy lunch. The rooftop bar looked interesting. It might be a good place to hang out at night for drinks.
We had another run to CPK. I decided to change up from the Waldorf Salad and go with the CPK Crunch Salad.
After my usual work out, we went to Tonkatsu Ginza Bairin for dinner. The katsu don and mushroom soup were very nice. Eliza enjoyed all the dishes.
We stopped in Bollywood Indian Restaurant for dinner. I don’t think it is as good as Punjab Grill, but it is not bad. The lamb is a bit dry and overcook.
Eliza came by the office and lobbied for pizza dinner. As usual, she got her way. California Pizza is not a bad choice anyway.
We went back to the place famous for its tasty soup dumplings. We got there a bit early to beat the rush and had an enjoyable lunch.
Tang Seafood Palace is a modestly priced restaurant that does a good job with soups. I can’t say the seafood is that great.
It was a clear, sunny day in Shanghai. We took the opportunity to enjoy a lunch at the Cathay Room in the Peace Hotel. The views are tremendous.

Eliza wanted a pony ride and the merry go round is the closest thing to a pony ride around here. We got a coconut drink as a bonus.
We had a coupon for the Yu Garden Cafe at the Marriott. We met up with some colleagues. The food was ok, but supply somewhat limited.
Eliza came by my office for dinner. She had a craving for dumplings and I got her to settle on gyoza at Watami.
We did some dims sum at Tang Dynasty, Thumb Plaza today. The service was decent and the food quality was also good.

I managed to get over to American POP Brasserie on a clear day in Shanghai. The views of the Bund were great and the food was nice. The salad with poached egg and the dessert were nicely done.

After the dinner at Calypso, we hit ‘Just Like It’ The ice cream and smoke are Eliza’s favorites.
After karate, we got over to Calypso for an early dinner. We tried for something simple like a pizza and eggplant. Both were very nice.
We stop by City Bistro to pick up a birthday cake for Eliza. The theme was Thai night. I can’t say that the food was that good today. But it was ok.
The Kerry restaurant team invited some of us over to have a free BBQ to introduce the Summer menu. We had a great time and enjoyed some good food.
The mall was a bit crowded because of a convention next door, but we managed to get in early to Aniseed Pho. One day, I should try the pho. But the other dishes seem fine.
My colleague introduce me to a great Japanese restaurant close to the office in Pudong. The oysters were excellent.
We finally managed to get down to El Willy for a lunch. The salmon tartare and dessert were nice.
My schedule opened up a bit today. We took advantage to run down to La Societe and enjoy a nice view and excellent food.
After skipping lunch, I got convinced to split french toast snack at Maan Coffee. We had a nice time chilling out with afternoon tea.
We tried Ippudo for noodles after the karate work out. Everything was nice. I really liked the black curry tonkotsu
Wan Li has some interesting selections and presentation. Some of their stuff is a bit salty, but overall good taste.

We strolled around the market and old city area for the holiday. It was a bit crowded, but we had a good time.
We stopped in for lunch at Andalus. Since we got in early, we got a private room. The staff gave some good suggestions. The lamb and cous cous were quite nice.
