I popped into the office to get some work done. One minute looks like a great day. Next minute a fire breaks out at Century Park entrance.
One of our vendors gave us a scroll as a gift. It looks like we’ll need to declare the gift with corporate, but I took a few pictures before turning it over.
After a long day, we had a late dinner and drinks. Notably, we had a local snack of Xian variant of hamburger
After a morning of interviews we went to Duo, a Spanish theme restaurant, at Gran Melia. The food and service we excellent. The lamb was especially notable.

There was a convention in town. So, I went to Pure and Whole to get some veggies.
I came across Cyclist in Trip Advisor. It is a bit hidden away, but we managed to get there without too much trouble. The food, value, and service are great.
After getting to the hotel, we had some time to wait for a room. The dim sum buffet is quite a good value. Everything was excellent.

With a convention in town, most of the lunch venues were jammed. I finally got something at California Pizza. The spicy seafood pizza hit the spot.
It was a nice, sunny day in Shanghai. We made an impromptu visit to American Pop Brasserie to enjoy the sunny views of the Bund.
We got a vendor gift of ice cream moon cakes from Haagen Dazs. This seems to only be available in Asia. The moon cakes are an opportunity for people to come up with some interesting packaging.
The Fullerton high tea has a good selection of teas and finger food. The service is good also.

We had a nice team lunch at Imperial Treasure Super Duck. I have to admit the duck is very good.

Altitude provides a nice view from high above Raffles Place. There is a cover charge that includes a mediocre drink, but the seating and views are worth a visit.

I met with former colleagues at Sear over at Raffles Place. The tomahawk steak was great. The sides were a bit small portions but they were tasty.
Ikyu has some nice lunch set options. Since my lunch partner got a set, I did a couple of small dishes. Everything was excellent.
We discovered Pantler, a nice little bakery, a couple of blocks from the office. The cozy shop was a bit crowded but we managed to get a table to enjoy the snacks.
Qoolco sells a number of items centered around fresh coconuts。 I got ice cream float in coconut water。 I will definitely repeat and get the same thing in the real coconut。
We seemed to have some problems with the truffles part of truffle fries, but the pork belly and sea urchin were quite nice.
I had dinner at Red House Seafood. It may not be as popular as Jumbo, but I think the seafood is pretty good. I especially like the cereal shrimp and bamboo clams.
I went to Sabai for a Thai dinner. The pad thai was not too exceptional. The crab meat and pork in crab shell was decent. The views are nice. Too bad I didn’t have my good camera with me
I stopped by Capella Hotel on Sentosa for afternoon tea. The environment is very nice. The asian tea set was nice. The food was nice and crisp. Although I can’t say the food was exceptional, it was a relaxing tea.

I had some time for a quick bite before my flight. Pizza Express seemed to be the best option. The Romano Spicy Chicken has some nice kick. The chili flakes and hot oil are there if you need more kick.
We had some problems with the service at Kitchen W Hong Kong, but the food ok. The lobster poached eggs was decent.
I took a chance and went to Stanley Market on a holiday. The day turned out to be quite nice in terms of weather and crowds.
