5 Napkin Burger
We gave 5 Napkin Burger a shot today. The burgers were juicy and nicely done. We switched up to sweet potato fries where were great. A little dessert of strawberry shake and apple pie finished off a nice lunch.
belt test

Gelato
Picked up gelato at CitySuper. Eliza liked the chocolate and I got a tasty black sesame on a cone.
Haiku
We went to Haiku for dinner tonight. The mushroom, seafood, and chicken soup was great. Squid and sushi were nice also.
Snoopy time
We went down to the IFC mall today. They had a Snoopy display today. Eliza got some fun on the display.
Wan Li
Wan Li is a bit out of the way from my place, but food and service were worth the trip for dinner. The food was excellent all around.
Ice cream
Got some green tea ice cream sandwich. Eliza liked it and she tried to feed the ice cream to her frog.
Welcome home from Eliza
I woke up this morning to get a welcome back from Eliza. She enjoyed the gift I got her. Good to be home.
soy milk and grass jelly

Chop Suey Cafe
Went to Chop Suey Cafe for a nice lunch before my departure from Singapore. The lettuce wraps had a nice kick of spice. Crab omelette was great also.
Manhattan Fish Market
There is no shortage of food at the office in Singapore. One of the guys got a couple orders of fish from Manhattan Fish Market. I gave it a taste and I think its pretty good.
Red bean pancake
One of our guys are moving to another office. He got the team red bean pancakes. Although I am sure there is a bunch of sugar, I could not pass one up.

Had a quiet meal downstairs of my hotel. The place was Tao Seafood. The fish skin with salted egg sauce was nice. Vegetables were tasty and the wine infused chicken was nice.

Around Chinatown and Marina
I just took a couple of pic around Chinatown and Marina. The Singapore hawker centers are well known for their selection of food. A recently renovated one by my hotel is open til pretty late at night.

Fat Cow
We had lunch at Fat Cow. Although the obvious choice is the various cuts of Wagyu, I chose to stick with the salmon. The salmon was very enjoyable.
JBM Coffee
We had JBM coffee at Raffles for dinner. The salmon might be cook a little bit much, but the best part was the dessert. The souffle was awesome and the ice cream with hazelnuts was good too.
Alkaff Mansion
We had a nice lunch at Alkaff Mansion. The tenderloin and dessert were especially nice. We were upstairs which was relatively empty. There was a wedding party downstairs but we didn’t hear anything from upstairs.
Westin
The Westin hotel is in the marina. I like the decor and the chill atmosphere.
Infinity pool
The infinity pool at the Westin hotel is nice. The view is not as good as Sands Marina, but its quiet and mellow. The Sands Marina pool is like a tourist attraction.

Westin Seasonal Tastes
Not seeing many options, I grabbed the buffet at Seasonal Tastes. The set up is ok for a quick meal. The shrimp and crab legs were decent. I liked the sesame gelato.
Man Ho Dim Sum
We had a dim sum lunch before I took off for Singapore. The dim sum is not as good as it used to be, but the dim sum is still not bad and the location is convenient for me.

On my flight to Singapore, I noticed a warning displayed on the screen before I watched the latest X-Men movie, Days of Future Past. Seems that the depiction of a plane getting blown up needs a warning if you watch … Continue reading
